Tuesdays from 11am - 1pm
These salons provide a container to steadily fill our cups with knowledge and embodied experience with the plants and with the dreaming.. They're designed for those who want to get well-cooked in the stew of herbalism, dreaming and Earth-membership and who seek to lay a sturdy foundation to ground or launch a lifetime of loving and living with the healing herbs of the Mother Earth.
Herbs - Each week is a little different, depending on what the seasons, the plants, the collective energies and our own inspirations are up to. We will focus on a different plant or two, meet them in the wild or the garden, make medicine and deepen our dreaming with them and explore their medicinal gifts.
Dreams - We will also engage in regular dreamsharing, continuing to deepen our skills of dreaming, meaning-making and dreamweaving on behalf of ourselves and all life. Continuing to entice our dream doors to open, we will practice dream re-entry, association making, and making expansive meaning from our dream symbols.
As we and the seasons are inspired, we will weave ceremony into our time together.
Schedule: Folks are welcome to drop-in once and give it a try - after which, it's encouraged to commit to ongoing regular attendance. A whole year will give you an embodied experience of one full turn of our local wheel.
Schedule Disclaimer: Sometimes I travel or take weeks off. I'm also mom to two young kids, and have to flow with their schedule and needs. I will always give a heads up when class is cancelled.
Kids Welcome: Though this isn’t a kid-centered event, kids are welcome to join and weave in and out as they desire, there’s plenty of space for them to do so, and this flow has always worked well for my herbal classes.
Location: The Dream Barn, nestled into my forested home in the mountains of East Port Angeles. While not a kid-centered gathering, kids are welcome so long as it works with the overall flow.
Cost: $30 per class, $100 per 4, none turned away for lack of funds. This fee does not include cost of recommended books (around $100) and weekly supply costs (average $5-$10 per week).
